  26. How come GVP can have their cards add 32 bit 'extended' (= beyond the 24 
  27. bit address range) RAM without having to use fancy addmem commands in the 
  28. startup-sequence, or reboot surviving patches etc, but other 
  29. manufacturers can't seem to do this. (I know there is extra code in KS3.1 
  30. to do this, but I still only have KS2.04 in my 2000, and there is 4 megs 
  31. of 'extended'ram (From $01000000 to $013FFFFF) in addition to the 8 megs 
  32. autoconfig on my GVP combo card, and theres no addmems or anything in my 
  33. startup-sequence.

  35. Is it something to do with the fact that these boards try to use 
  36. addresses $80000000 and up, (Why when theres a bit less than 2 gigs space 
  37. from $01000000 to $7FFFFFFF, That should be enough for anybody using a 
  38. 680x0 processor.
